Citrus Heights Comes

Citrus Heights pulls out all the stops during the Christmas holiday season, as they host festivals and parties galore for the month of December. The highlight of the year is to give back to the community and give those less fortunate the gift of a happy holiday. Set up by the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department, the annual toy and food drive takes place between the middle of November until the middle of December. Santa comes to town the second weekend of December, and brings some of his friends and lots of lights with him for the Santa Christmas parade. The adults even have special events and festivals set up just for them to enjoy the holiday spirit for a night on the town.
