Many of Centerville's schools have received both regional and national recognition for athletics and academic performance, including its one high school, three middle schools, and six elementary schools. Local tots enjoy learning made fun in the large “Kindergarten Village”. The Centerville City School District has proudly received Ohio’s Local Report Card ratings of excellent consistently, an honor only achieved by roughly 17 out of 612 school districts. An excellent place for students of any age, the city prides itself on Centerville High School and its regular high ratings for athletics, academics, and music. Much of Centerville’s appeal comes with the community’s popular arts and culture offerings, which are promoted strongly by the city government and area locals alike. If you enjoy learning more about history, Centerville features several early stone houses listed on the National Register of Historic Places that are part of the largest collection in the entire state. The Town Hall Theatre has entertained guests as a major attraction for over 70 years and is located in the Heart of Centerville, an area of the city with a historic setting that houses numerous boutiques, shops, businesses, and dining options, as well as its stone building collection.
