Museum of History

This history museum is an excellent place to take the entire family to learn about the beginnings of Cedar Hill.

Cedar Hill State Park

Spend the day, or even a weekend enjoying the great outdoors at Cedar Hill State Park. The beautiful park spans over 1,826 acres, some of which are wooded areas perfect for camping. The 7,500-acre Joe Pool Lake borders the park and allows you to take part in many water activities, such as fishing, swimming, and boating. Picnic areas and playgrounds are also located throughout the park so you have everything you need to entertain the entire family, while breathtaking scenery of the park will keep you wanting to come back for more.

Festivals Galore

To feel like you are a part of the community, take the time to join in on one of the town’s annual events, while making some new neighborly friends. Old Town Holiday on the Hill takes place in December and is a Christmas experience you will not soon forget. Enjoy a beautiful light display an A variety of activities and treats are also available at the event. In October, spend some time at Country Day on the Hill. This event features a parade, 5K runs, and craft vendors. Food and kids' activities are also provided.
