How is the school system in Canton?
The Town of Canton operates three public elementary schools, one public middle school, and one public high school. They all fall under the Canton School District, which has received very high marks across the board. Rated as better than 79.3 percent of school districts in Massachusetts and 99.5 percent of school districts in the US, Canton offers excellent public education to its students. Canton's sole private school, St. John's, serves grades K-8.

There are some museums in Canton. These include the Milton Art Museum, which houses a permanent collection of fine art, limited prints, sculpture, photography, and Asian art, and the Canton Historical Society. Nearby Dedham is home to the Museum of Bad Art, and Milton is home to the Mass Audubon's Blue Hills Trailside Museum, which contains indoor and outdoor exhibits relating to wildlife. Most museums of note, however, are located about 30 minutes northeast of Canton in Boston.
