Eugene H. Hagel Arbor

There are few things as enjoyable as an adventure through nature at the Eugene H. Hagel Arboretum. This nature wonderland allows visitors to truly commune with nature. Visit a wetland that covers over eight acres with all sorts of flower gardens and wildlife inhabiting the area allowing for exciting observation. There are plenty of paved pathways spread throughout the venue that allows for you to easily and comfortably enjoy a great nature jaunt that will leave you in awe and wanting to experience again. This is simply a great place to relax and simply have a fantastic day.

Weisman Art Museum

The Weisman Art Museum is a place that will leave you wanting to come back for more in a great venue to view contemporary art. The museum’s collection features the work of American artist of the early 20th century and visitors will be able to view the works of such greats as Marsden Hartley and Georgia O’Keefe. Of course, this is a teaching museum, which is to be expected, as it is a part of the University of Minnesota. As such, the venue offers plenty of classes, events, and exhibitions intended to educate the public at large.
