Tracking Down Your Apartment In Brentwood

Not only is Brentwood an affluent suburb of Nashville - home of the Grand Ol' Opry and Dollywood - but it's one of the most high falutin', glittering suburban locales anywhere in the US. What's more, when you factor in the cost of living, some even say that Brentwood's political overlord, Williamson County, is the wealthiest county in the country. Period. That's saying alot, but let us add even more words of encouragement to any apartment hunter seeking salvation in this central Tennessee town: Brentwood is the Hollywood of the country music world. Well known residents include Sheryl Crow, Garth Brooks, and Christopher Cross. Ok, so the last guy is more yacht rock than country, but the point stands.

Apartment Rental Figures For Brentwood

The Long And Short Of It, Brentwood Edition

What is it about cities named Brentwood that make them such upscale and diamond studded places? O.J. Simpson put the Brentwood in California on the map in a most infamous fashion, and now Cameron Diaz, Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood, and Oprah Winfrey are all helping put the Tennessee version on the map too.

Ok, Oprah's got homes everywhere. So maybe she doesn't count so much.

Maybe it all has something to do with the fact that Brentwood (TN) is kind of like the Hollywood of country music, what with Nashville and its historical legacy right next door. EMI Christian Music Group is one of the town's biggest employers, and no big surprise, they're affiliated with Capital Records out in California. On top of EMI as one of the main drivers of Brentwood's high flying economy are AT&T, Comdata, and DaVita. Putting the lie to the idea that Tennessee isn't much of a center for creatively driven and complex commerce, Brentwood is helping make The Volunteer State a force to be reckoned with. And we do mean ""reckon,"" pardner.

Brentwood's Parks & Rec Action

Brentwood's various natural amenities - any of which somebody'd be happy to wake up in - come packaged with features (and bugs - this is Tennessee we're talkin' about) that will appeal to different folks. Different strokes for...well, you know the phrase. The sweetly named Granny White Park maintains over 32 acres of trails, golf courses, a volleyball court, and even a lacrosse field. Lacrosse? That's very cosmopolitan of Brentwood if we say so our self. Crockett Park can be considered the city's flagship outlet for kinetic activity of all sorts, and includes more than 170 - read that right, 170 - acres of recreational wonders that will have users experiencing...wow, maybe, hm, how should we put it, synaesthesia?

Let us allow Brentwood itself to round out this section of the page:

""The focus is centered upon the proper development and maintenance of the City's 'state of the art' parks and greenways totaling 575+ acres located throughout Brentwood. The grounds and facilities provide for opportunities to enjoy social, cultural, athletic and/or nature oriented activities through individual or organized group participation without having to travel great distances.""

Got that

Nashville: Right Next Door

Anyone seeking to embark on a journey to Nashville, the holy land of country music, doesn't deserve to call themselves a believer if their pilgrimage doesn't include a stop at The Grand Ole Opry Museum; The Hank Williams Museum; The Country Music Hall of Fame Museum; and last but not least (but perhaps the slowest), The Willie Nelson and Friends Showcase Museum. These Nashville landmarks, and of course lots of things that have nothing whatsoever to do with country music, are all at your beck and call, but only if you make Brentwood your destination for apartment-centered happiness.
