About Brandon, FL
Described as the “Premier Bedroom Community” of Florida, Brandon boasts all the amenities and comforts of big city living with the peace and security of the suburbs. It has grown in leaps and bounds since the early days of its founding back in 1857. What started as a meager one-stop town has since blown up into sprawling streets, mega shopping centers, and a population of more than 100,000. Development shows no signs of slowing down in the near future.

A Day at the Fair

One of the main attractions of living in Brandon comes around every year, and is a great way to spend the day. The Hillsborough County Fairgrounds are now a permanent home to the annual festival and brings with it carnival games, roller coaster rides, both delicious and terrible fair food, and arcades to your heart’s content. This used to be a traveling fair, going somewhere new in the state every year, until 2011 when it found a resting place right on the outskirts of town. It is definitely worth checking out if you are there in mid-October
