Bohemia is the premier, upscale dining spot in town for Peruvian-inspired cuisine. While there are a number of other Latin restaurants in Bloomfield, none stand up to the flavors and atmosphere at Bohemia, particularly for a romantic date night. The extensive wine list and full bar, which serves some inventive cocktails, many of which are also Latin inspired, make Bohemia an excellent choice for girls' night out and other group outings, too. The menu features masterfully prepared dishes that blend traditional Peruvian and new American flavors. A beautiful locale, relaxed atmosphere, trendy decor, and professional service are the hallmarks of this Bloomfield original.
Vibrant Performing Ar
For a relatively small community, Bloomfield has an amazing arts scene that includes live theater and music performances from the city's symphony, mandolin orchestra, choral troupe, and civic and youth bands. Bloomfield College's performing arts department keeps the stages at the Westminster Arts Center hopping, and the Broadway Performing Arts School offers classes for all ages. Two theater groups are also active in the area: The 4th Wall Theatre, a local troupe, and the 12 Miles West Theatre Company, which while primarily performing in nearby Rutherford does, on occasion, put on a show in Bloomfield.
