Locals of Blackwood can find an easy escape from city life in Timber Creek Park, where 128 acres of woodland scenery wait for them. The park includes a 9-acre area where locals can bring their canine companions to play off leash. Leashed dogs are also welcome anywhere else in the park. The park is home to the Blackwood Railroad Trail, a scenic bike and pedestrian path that runs for almost three miles along an old abandoned railway.
