Showcasing local music artists, as well as a delectable menu, K.J. Farrell's Bar and Grill brings life to the very heart of Bellmore. Situated just north of the Long Island Railroad station on Sunrise Highway, the bar's location is prime to welcome both residents and visitors alike. Serving everything from salads to sliders, the menu has something for just about everyone, including beers and mixed drinks. While most of the musical entertainment is provided by two bands a night, the popular hub also features karaoke and open mic nights to get the community involved.
The Brokerage Comedy
Some of the most famous comedians in the country have passed through Bellmore and its local comedy club. The Brokerage Club has featured many top name headliners, including many comedians who have gone off to make Hollywood movies. Stars such as Eddie Murphy and Kevin James have used the club to test out new material. Different performers strut their stuff for laughs every week, so you never know the humor on the agenda from one visit to the next. In between shows, a house band plays light music while guests enjoy drinks at the bar and chef-prepared hors d'oeuvres.
