Lion’s Choice

The fast-food restaurant chain Lion’s Choice began in Ballwin in the late 1960s under the name Brittany Beef, and then changed to Red Lion Beef House. It has since opened 22 other locations. If you have a craving for delicious food fast, head to Lion’s Choice. The restaurant is known for serving sliced lean slow-roasted beef sandwiches. Each restaurant serves an average of 60,000 pounds of beef each year. The chain has honors for Best Fast Food in 2007 and 2008, and Best Roast Beef for 2010 and 2011. You can find the original location still standing off Manchester Road.

Ballwin School of Roc

Ballwin School of Rock is a boot camp for students who want to learn to play music and have the experience of being in a band and performing. Kids who are involved in the camp go through band-related activities and group rehearsals as well as personal instruction from teachers and education on the musical gear used. By the end of the camp, your child can perform a set of songs with a group live on stage. This camp is open to those who sing, play drums, keyboard, guitar, or bass guitar. They are also willing to accommodate more classical instruments.
