About Arlington Heights, IL

Arlington Heights is technically a ‘village’, though its population numbers would indicate a much larger urban center. Nevertheless, this village of note has managed to garner its own acclaim. This is no small feat considering the village is just 26 miles northwest of Chicago and is often considered a suburb of the larger windy city. Still, Arlington Heights has the distinction of being the most heavily populated village in the U.S. and offers a number of nationally recognized attractions.
