Arlington Parks and S
Arlington is home to a number of public parks and conservation areas. Arguably, its most popular parks are Bill Quake Memorial Park and Terrace Park. Sports opportunities abound in the city with outdoor fields and facilities, including the Soccer First complex and Gleneagle Golf Course. Popular among the younger crowd is Absolute Air Park, a facility that offers group sports and fitness activities incorporating trampolines. Much of Absolute Air Park is indoors, but the summer season brings many of its events and programs outside under the sun. If you enjoy vigorous dance and aerobics, the Northwest Dance and Acro Center hosts outside classes when the weather permits.
Arlington is home to a large variety of diverse cuisine options and restaurants. Whatever it is that you are hungry for, it is likely you will be able to find it at a restaurant in Arlington. If you seek a hearty, comfy, home-cooked meal without all the hassle of preparing it yourself, stop in at Bistro San Martin or Blue Bird Cafe on North Olympic Avenue. If you are hungry for something a little more ethnic, try La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant or Pedeltweezer’s Chinese and Pizza. If you still have room for desert, make a full trip of it and hit the Local Scoop on Olympic Avenue too.

Whether you are by yourself, with friends, or with that special someone, you can easily find a fun way to spend an evening or night on the town in Arlington. Start your evening off with a hot, appetizing meal at the Rocket Alley Bar and Grill on Olympic Avenue, and then wander down the road and catch the latest flick at the Olympic Theater. If you want to go out for drinks afterward to bring in the dawn or cap off your night, the Whitehouse Tavern on Olympic Avenue and Longhorn Tavern on Smokey Point Boulevard are open late into the night to serve your needs.
