West Orange Trail

When living in Apopka, do not forget to stop by West Orange Trail. With nearly 22 miles of trails, this is an outdoors person's dream. The trail itself expands for nearly 14 miles, providing plenty of room to get lost in nature while still being able to find your way back easily. All trails are biker-friendly, equestrian-friendly, pedestrian-friendly, and pet-friendly. Skateboarders or other wheeled sports enthusiasts are also welcome to take part in enjoying the trails. The trails begin at the Lake County and Orange county line, very close to Killarney station. From there, they wander across the land in several directions.

Errol Estate Country

It may be a bit expensive, but the Errol Estate Country Club has some of the best food and golfing available in the area. Rated extremely highly by many golf enthusiasts, the country club offers 18 holes of beautifully groomed greens. The golf course also has a gourmet restaurant that is noted for a high level of service and attention to detail. Significant improvement was noted when a new chef came on in late 2012, bringing attention back to the restaurant.
