ABOUT MILWAUKEE & MILWAUKEE APARTMENT RENTALS

Milwaukee may have been made famous by the show, “Happy Days,” but there is much more to this dynamic and diverse city, starting off with its glorious lakefront location.

MILWAUKEE ATTRACTIONS

Get to know the city by foot by strolling along the RiverWalk, a lovely pedestrian promenade connecting the city’s waterfront neighborhoods.  Or enjoy a leisurely boat cruise in the scenic Milwaukee harbor.  The Milwaukee Public Market downtown has great shopping and an outdoor farmer’s market.

Old World Wisconsin, in the beautiful Kettle Moraine State Forest, offers a real taste of history.  Visit an actual 1870’s village where you can chat with merchants and townsfolk in authentic turn of the century homes and shops.  Try interactive, hands-on activities and historic crafts such as quilting, wool rug braiding, and blacksmithing.  You can also hike Old World’s award-winning nature trails through beautiful woods and prairies that abound with wildlife.

For some more recent history, visit Harley Davidson, home of the classic American motorcycle, founded in Milwaukee 100 years ago.  Or try the Historic Miller Cave and the tour of Miller Brewing, another Milwaukee tradition.

MILWAUKEE DINING

For seafood, the Rip Tide Seafood Bar and Grill offers live music, incredible views and the biggest waterfront patio in Milwaukee, while Butch’s Old Casino Steak House downtown offers satisfying steaks.  For some of Milwaukee’s most revered pizza, try Mama DeMarinis or Rocky Rococo.

MILWAUKEE NIGHTLIFE

Milwaukee has plenty of nightlife options!  Yester Year Pub and Grill has DJs during the week and live rock’n’roll on the weekends.  Arj’s Jazz and Blues Club has three separate bars, two stages, a lively dance floor and a well dressed over 30 crowd who come to hear some of the best jazz, blues, and R&B in Milwaukee.  Club Cush has a romantic atmosphere and small dance floor for a special date evening.  Or check out Jungle for hip hop and house music.
