ABOUT SEATTLE & SEATTLE APARTMENT RENTALS

The home of Starbucks Corporation and grunge rock… Seattle is clearly a cutting edge, innovative city, whose influence has extended far beyond its city limits.

SEATTLE ATTRACTIONS

Seattle’s most famous landmark, the Space Needle, was built for the 1962 World’s Fair and is more than 600 feet high.  Take an elevator to reach the observation deck near the top of the Needle and enjoy fantastic views of downtown Seattle, the Olympic and Cascade Mountains, Mount Baker, Mount Rainier, Elliott Bay, and surrounding islands.  The fairgrounds surrounding the Needle have been made part of the Seattle Center, now the location of many civic and cultural events.  For even more breathtaking views of Seattle, visit the Columbia Center, 76 stories high.

Ride the “Duck”, a WWII amphibious vessel on Lake Union and Lake Washington, and take a musical tour of Seattle by land and by water.  A Coast Guard certified maritime captain will be your guide as you see Seattle landmarks like Pike Place Market, the oldest continually operated farmer’s market in the nation, and historic Pioneer Square.

SEATTLE DINING

Seattle has great dining options.  Union offers genuine northwest cuisine in a relaxed, upscale atmosphere, while Sazerac offers New Orleans and southern Louisiana cooking.  Etta’s Seafood offers the best seafood from the pacific Northwest, like crab cakes and wild king salmon, while you enjoy views of Pike Place Market and the beautiful waterfront.  At the Husky Deli enjoy espresso, thick deli sandwiches, flavored halvah and other treats.  Pudge Brothers Pizza is the place for pizza, lasagna and calzones.  Beth’s Café is open 24 hours a day and serves omelettes with six or twelve eggs, and all-you-can-eat hash browns.

SEATTLE NIGHTLIFE

While Seattle may be cloudy during the day, it definitely heats up at night.  At Trinity Nightclub you get three distinct spaces under one roof -- the VIP Room, the Blue Room and the Card Room all offer unique atmospheres to enjoy different types of music.  El Corazon is the place for rock, punk and heavy metal.  For DJs spinning hip hop and top 40 check out Tabella Lounge & Bar with three bars and a large dance floor. Or, try the Lava Lounge to hear punk, soul, hip hop, and heavy metal.
