ABOUT DALLAS & DALLAS APARTMENT RENTALS

The fabled city of oil, wealth, and intrigue, immortalized in the famous prime-time soap opera by the same name, has much more happening than just drilling for oil!

DALLAS ATTRACTIONS

Dallas has one of the largest arts districts in the United States.  It is also the home to the annual USA Film Festival which showcases the best new short and feature length independent films.  Other happenings include the Scarborough Renaissance Festival and Dallas Roars, a series of spring events at the Dallas Zoo.

There are also many year-round attractions.  Fair Park features the most comprehensive collection of 1930's Art Deco architecture in the country, along with eight museums including the Museum of Nature & Science, The Women's Museum, and The African- American Museum.

For outdoor fun, the Dallas Park and Recreation Department maintains more than 21,000  acres which includes 17 lakes at 17 park sites, 17,196 acres of greenbelt park land, and more than 60 miles of jogging and bike trails.

DALLAS DINING

Dallas has cuisine to suit every palate!  Lola The Restaurant for fine dining or “2900” for modern, upscale soul food are both excellent choices.  For some casual Tex-Mex cuisine, go to Escondido – the tacos and enchiladas are out of this world.  Main Street and the Ten Sports Grill have great burgers and pub food and Sammy's Bar-B-Q has incredible ribs and chicken!  Breakfast at the Dream Café is truly a dream, with home-made oven-warm popovers and hearty Mexican-style ranchero plates.

DALLAS NIGHTLIFE

Dallas knows how to play.  For some great nightlife action, try the Petrus Lounge for live music in a fun, upscale setting.  The Bone and Stan’s Blue Note have rock’n’roll and Café Dada has new wave, electronica, and all kinds of live music.  Try the Muddy Waters for country music and the Double Wide Bar for country and alternative rock.  Check out the Lizard Lounge for live hip hop and rap and a comfortable outdoor patio.  Or if you prefer some Texas Blues, head down to the Across the Street Bar for live music and cheap pitchers of beer.
