ABOUT ORLANDO & ORLANDO APARTMENT RENTALS

Orlando is a sunny, fast-growing metropolis with friendly people, amusement parks, and numerous outdoor activities – a wonderful place to live and play.

ORLANDO ATTRACTIONS

Disney World, the Epcot Center, Universal Orlando, Sea World Orlando, and more… Orlando is clearly one of the nation’s top entertainment and shopping destinations.  Visit the Orlando Science Center and look through the largest refracting telescope in Florida, or visit any of the many museums and galleries that make Orlando a vibrant cultural center.

Orlando also has its share of real parks – try the Henry P. Leu gardens, more than 50 acres of peace, beauty and tranquility.  Or go to Blue Springs State Park and check out the manatees, large aquatic marine mammals.  Check out Tiger Woods’s favorite golf courses.

For something a little more active and adventurous, how about: riding in a genuine Florida airboat and exploring the headwaters of the Everglades National Swamp, one of the natural wonders of the world; driving a stock car at more than 100 miles per hour at the Richard Petty Driving Experience; or floating over the city in a hot air balloon!

ORLANDO FOOD DINING

Dining in Orlando runs the gamut from casual to elegant. For fun, casual dining, try Hot Dog Heaven, where hot dogs come in a dozen different variations; the Baja Burrito Kitchen, where the food is delicious and healthy; or Beefy King, where the roast beef sandwiches are a local legend.

For pizza, Alfonso’s Pizza and More is the place to go. Everything is fresh and hand made, and there is the traditional thin sliced pizza or the extra thick Sicilian.  Or for a unique Orlando dining experience head on over to Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede Dinner and Show and experience a real live buffalo stampede.

If you want something a little more upscale try Del Frisco’s Steakhouse or the Chinatown Seafood and Barbecue Restaurant.  Or relax at the Melting Pot of Orlando for a full four course fondue dining experience that takes at least two hours.

ORLANDO NIGHTLIFE

Orlando offers a wide variety of bars, clubs, theaters and concerts to enjoy those warm Orlando nights.  Start with the Tabu Nightclub for house music and hip hop and then stop in for a laugh at the Bonkerz Comedy Club right on the same premises. Or try Antigua for a sophisticated club experience with a resort theme.  If you’re a reggae lover, head down to hear some reggae at Bob Marley – A Tribute to Freedom, a recreation of his home in Jamaica, complete with Jamaican food and drink and live reggae music.  Try the Roxy for salsa, retro, and progressive house music and two dance floors.  For some rock’n’roll, check out the Social, and go to the Bar BQ Bar for a funky, down-home atmosphere with a great jukebox and the best of the local music scene.
