Stay right in Fort Lauderdale and enjoy the Hugh Taylor Birch State Recreation Area. It is located on 180 acres of prime oceanfront property in the middle of Fort Lauderdale and is one of the few remaining areas in dense South Florida where you can spot tropical hardwoods and mangroves.

To see Fort Lauderdale from a unique perspective, ride the Jungle Queen – a classic riverboat that has been a Fort Lauderdale tradition for more than 50 years.

O'Hara's Pub is a New Orleans-style blues and jazz club with an outside patio for relaxing, drinking, and enjoying music.  The Poor House is another live music venue especially known for blues, funk, and rock music in a friendly atmosphere.  Round Up Country Western Club has been nominated for "Club of the Year" by the Academy of Country Music, and it’s easy to see why – the dance floor is over 2,000 square feet!  When you want a break from dancing you can watch sports on the multiple TV screens, play a game of pool, or enjoy a live concert by country music stars.  Voodoo Lounge is a large, velvety dance club with VIP spaces, bars and private rooms.
