Allentown Art Musuem

<p>The Allentown Art Musuem is found in the city of Allentown, and has been existence since 1934. It was founded by Walter Emerson Baum, and today has grown to the point where it has a collection of over 13,000 pieces of art. Aside from its museum facilities, the building also has library facilities that have a catalog stretching over 16,000 different books. In the past several years, the museum has undergone expansion and renovation through a 15 million dollar project.</p>

The Allentown Band is one of the longest continuously operating bands on the planet, as it has been playing since the mid-1820s. The Allentown Band has received some high praise and prestigious opportunities, such as the chance to have played for ten US presidents to date, for leaders such as Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt. The band has been covered by national news shows multiple times, such as by CBS in 1991 and by WLVT-TV in 2003.</p>
