The Cedar Creek Golf Course provides visitors with 18-holes of championship golf over rolling fairways, challenging greens, and, of course, an Alberville-like friendly atmosphere. Golfers of every age and playing level are welcome to play at Cedar Creek. The course features over 6,000 yards of golf designed by Williams, Gill & Associates. They offer lessons taught by pros and also host several leagues throughout the week.

The Albertville Lions host a farmer’s market every Wednesday from 3-7pm beginning in June and going through the end of September in the Albertville Central Park. Residents can purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, and some interesting and delicious specialty items. Even if you’re going to buy, the market is a nice place to walk around, listen to the live music, and enjoy a Wednesday evening. You are bound to see lots of smiling faces as you meander around the park.

Eco-Albertville

Albertville cares about the environment and encourages recycling and composting in the community. This forward-thinking town has a community compost site where residents can bring their unwanted grass clipping, leaves, and other small brush in to be composted. Once the good stuff is composted and turned into fabulously rich organic compost, residents are welcome to pick it up. The mulch is available to residents on a first-come-first serve basis and is free. What a wonderful way to help the environment and your garden.

Green Thumbs

Albertville offers a great Community Garden where residents can rent a 15-square foot plot for an extremely small fee. This is a great option for apartment-dwellers who would like to grow some vegetables or flowers.
