Novice monks spend a minimum of six years at Tagaste learning the rhythm and discipline of monastic life as well as taking seminary classes. While monastic life involves a level of seclusion the monks always welcome visitors, and are happy to show them the monastery grounds or discuss finer points of doctrine.

Challenger Learning C

Any child would jump at the chance to go to space, and that is just what the Challenger Learning Center offers. The center is offers simulated flights to the moon, Mars, or a comet for visitors young and old, with a mission to teach about science through the wonder of space flight. The interactive learning provided by the center allows a team of visitors to perform the same tasks as astronauts and their teammates at Mission Control, teaching everyone how to work as a team while promoting science literacy. The center was built as a memorial to the astronauts who died in the Challenger disaster.
