TurnTables – A Listening Experience

I’m in the market for a new record player for my apartment, so I’ve been doing a lot of research in my free time to try and find the best record player for casual listening. I wanted something that looked good, sounded good, and would hold up well to normal amounts of listening.

There a a lot of options out there, and the Crosby is a popular one. You can get them at Urban Outfitters, they don’t cost too much and they look really hip. On the flip side, they are Cheeeeaaappppply made. So steer clear of this cool looking fellow  if you plan on listening every week.

This Turntable from Audio-Technica is an AMAZING BUY. Its very highly rated on amazon, and is often recommended by professional disk jockeys. And it’s only about $50 more then the players from Urban Outfitters – and the LP120 offers a lot better quality.

Such beauty is the Music Hall mff turntables. They are expensive but offer up superb sound reproduction, and handsomely classic looks. If money wasn’t an issue, this is the turntable I’d choose.

So there you have it. 3 great record players for 3 different needs. Choose the Crosby if you want affordable sound and good looks, choose the Audio-Technica for amazing sound and lasting build quality, and choose Music Hall for the best looks and sound (but at a price).
