We're taking the shrink wrap off the proverbial box right now, and the pins will return later this evening. Stay tuned. Update 8/1 7:38am: This issue has been resolved and maps and pins should be working fine in IE. Happy searching (and mapping).

Fixes to How Search Works

Known Issues and Fixes

We've been very excited at the number of you who have been sending feedback. Based on your comments, we are working hard this week to fix the following things:

Search By Radius: On a search result page, if you select a radius from the “Show Results Within" menu, it appears to not work. What's happening is that the search is still constrained to the city, state or zip code that you entered as your search term. This will be fixed, so that search really does produce results for the distance you select.

Entering Spaces or Period After a State Name in Search Terms: Presently, if you enter a space between a city name and the state, we return an error message saying that “the city name is not recognized." We will be adding the ability to understand your search if you omit the comma between city and state and if you add a period after the two letter state abbreviation.

You will see that, by first thing next week, these issues will be fixed. Keep the feedback coming!
