About Us
Meet the MyNewPlace bloggers!
Snow Conant, Social Marketing Manager
Snow grew up on a small farm in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom and is a semi-recent transplant to the Bay Area. And she is never leaving! She lives in a 1 BR apartment with her boyfriend Eric and her dog, Leroy Brown. Her interests include sustainable living, travel adventures, and doing anything outdoors – and she spends the rest of her free time cooking, gardening, and preventing Leroy from eating the back yard. As content manager for MyNewPlace Snow is always happy to receive suggestions and comments!
Matt DiChiara, Marketing Manager
The absurdity not conveyed by Matt’s picture can be summed up with the following description: he lives with a band of 7 traveling minstrels, he exists entirely on a diet of macaroni and cheese and beer and he knows just about everything.
Crystal Beran
Travel writer and international woman of adventure, Crystal Beran can usually be found gallivanting around the globe in her epic quest to collect more stories. Once she finds these stories, she gets to work, feverishly recording them back at her secret lair. People who want to read more of Crystal’s work can visit her at her internet home. Presently, Crystal and her cat mostly inhabit the planet Earth. That’s as specific as they can be right now.
Leroy Brown, Guest Dlogger for our ‘pet-friendly apartments’ segments

Leroy is a pit-hound-yorkie mixed dog and when he’s not consulting MyNewPlace on pet-related issues he spends his time chewing, strewing, clawing, and wreaking havoc. Oh, and being adorable. He came from Copper’s Dream Rescue – check them out if you are local!
MyNewPlace is thrilled to announce our newest guest bloggers!
Ron Leshnower of About.com

Ron is also the founder and President of Fair Housing Helper, which comprises a family of three Web sites offering training and resources on housing discrimination for multifamily professionals, as well as the Fair Housing Blog, which explores housing discrimination issues that are important, interesting, and relevant but that don’t necessarily get much press.
Before dedicating himself to writing, Ron practiced real estate law at a major New York law firm and has over a decade of experience living as a tenant in the New York and Boston metro areas. In addition to About.com, Ron’s articles have appeared on Nolo.com and in the National Apartment Association’s Units Magazine as well as in several trade newsletters.

Along the way, Autumnn earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas. When she’s not at work, you can find Autumnn cheering on her beloved Razorbacks, spending time with friends and family, or chasing after June, her mischievous Jack Russell Terrier.
