Angelina Jolie: Who Needs Friends When You Are Married to Brad Pitt, Have $40 Million Italian Villa

Though not quite so scandalous as she was a decade ago, Angelina Jolie still manages to create a media frenzy pretty much every time she opens her mouth. As of this morning the most recent gossip is the following: Angelina Jolie HAS NO FRIENDS!! What?

Interviewed from Pakistan by CNN’s Sanjay Gupta, Jolie spoke at length about her role as a UN Goodwill Ambassador. Somewhere muddled amidst descriptions of her active and frequent humanitarian efforts came the admission that she really doesn’t have many people to talk to – other than longtime partner Brad Pitt.

So let’s break this down:

1. Angelina Jolie often travels the globe to advocate better conditions for the world’s poor and suffering: NOT NEWS!

2. Angelina Jolie doesn’t have many people with whom to share how tough it is to constantly travel away from her children and partner: BIG NEWS!!!!

3. From #2, we can directly and scientifically infer that ANGELINA JOLIE, object of international envy, HAS NO FRIENDS!!

Since giving the interview last night, Angie’s sad and friendless state has rocketed across the internets. Have you been feeling sorry for her? Is it even possible to feel sorry for Angelina Jolie?

This house, purchased as recently as last week, will be the third for the Jolie-Pitts (after their LA Mansion and New Orleans Town Home).

Let’s discuss.

As per the Daily Mail, – at 18,000 square feet (15 bedrooms and seven bathrooms), this new house comes with a vineyard, stables, a movie theater, a gym, and two swimming pools. Apparently, there are also free-range horses, pristine Italian sunlight, and mountains all around. Supposed she’d sublet the guest house? I bet it at least has a jacuzzi and a wine cellar – and that’s really all I need…
