Back long ago in the days of care-free collegiate summers I sent a care package to a group of friends who was squatting in a house with no running water or electricity on Montauk. As the 4 roommates in question typically bathed in the public rinse stations by the beach before heading off to their taxi shifts I thought perhaps some incense would make a rank environment more endurable. I later learned said incense were used to "dry clean" dirty laundry in a locked trunk. I can understand the valid thought processes behind such a maneuver, however I wouldn't wish the same situations upon any others. As it is my first time on MyNewPlace.com I didn't really know what to expect. It seems, upon a superficial inspection, to be a useful way to transmit important housing information to would-be renters of all ages. Should the day come when I may need to find a new place myself (the absolute horror of the NY apartment scene) I will certainly turn my friends on MyNewPlace.com. May no one ever have to smoke out their clothes again. I can personally attest to the fallacy behind trunk smoking your clothes.
