We thought we would share a little trick with you about our search. You can search for apartments by entering only a city name–no state is necessary. Type in Washington–we give you results for Washington, DC. Type in Madison. We give you Madison, WI. Type in Portland. You get Portland, OR. "But, what about Portland, Maine?" you ask. For each city name that you search without a state, we default our results to the most populous city. However, if you meant something else, we'll ask you. With this:

You can change your search results to another city in a different state that uses the same name. Just select it from the drop down list and click Go. By the way, you can also search on New York, NY by just typing nyc, and you can search San Francisco, CA by typing sf. Happy apartment hunting.
