MyNewPlace to Blog: Disclosures
In accordance with the principles of good blogging and trying be a generally respective Netizen, we'd like to let you know our blogging code of ethics.
How We Make Our Money
MyNewPlace makes money (or rather, hopes to make money when we launch later in the spring) when renters sign leases and move in to properties we have under contract. No one pays the company to write this blog, and we do not accept advertising.
Promise to Disclose Conflicts
We promise to disclose to you when we mention related third parties with whom we have a relationship.
Promise to Respond Promptly
We promise to respond to your emails and comments as quickly as we can. However, we reserve the right to remove spam, ignore ridicule, and delete anonymous commenters at our discretion.
Promise to Be Fair and Truthful
We strive to be fair and truthful in our postings and provide links to material that we reference (just like in the next paragraph).
Can't Promise Spell Checking, though
We know Charlene Li at Forrester recommended it in her blogging policy example, but until someone can point me to where the spell checker lives in Movable Type, I can make no promises on behalf of the company.

Congratulations for launching the blog on MyNewPlace…
I hope MyNewPlace become the standard and commonly used site… Like when people start searching the place, MyNewPlace is the first one for people to hit.(rather than craigslist!)
I'm thinking of moving from the apartment I currently live, so I would like to use your site in near future
