Mind-boggling. There's also lots to do in the surrounding 'hoods to keep any adventure-hungry student satisfied. Take a day and tackle the long lists of breweries and wineries, a main attraction of nearby Escondido. Take your poles and fish off the pier at Oceanside on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
