About Pueblo, CO

Located in Colorado’s Banana Belt, Pueblo, Colorado is considered semi-arid desert land and receives significantly less snowfall than other cities in Colorado. It sits at the confluence of Fountain Creek and the Arkansas River which formed the border between the United States and Mexico around 1842. The settlement was named Fort Pueblo and was intended to be a trading post. Today, Pueblo has a population of just over 100,000 residents and is the Pueblo County seat.
