About Palmetto Bay, FL

Palmetto Bay is a suburb of Miami, Florida and has a total area of only 8.8 square miles. Nicknamed the “City of Parks,” Palmetto Bay village has numerous acres of park facilities featuring both indoor and outdoor activities for everyone. In 2002, Palmetto Bay village was incorporated by combining two previous towns- Cutler and Perrine. Featuring easy access for boaters to the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay, boaters and water enthusiasts love Palmetto Bay. Though hit heavily by Hurricane Andrew in 1992, Palmetto Bay village has continued to rebuild and recover and continues to grow and prosper as a premier community in South Florida.
