About Edmonds, WA

The waterfront community of Edmonds often feels more like a seaside village than a city with a population approaching 53,000 near the state capital. A prime tourist destination, Edmonds' quaint downtown and waterfront districts are teeming with art galleries, antique dealers, craft and jewelry shops, and other boutique retailers as well as coffee shops and cafes. Historic downtown maintains many of the trappings of old Edmonds while more modern conveniences are available in the city's commercial districts and residential areas.
