Dundalk, Maryland was one of the first recognized suburbs of Baltimore. The community itself is one of the largest unincorporated areas in Baltimore County. It got its name from the town of Dundalk, Ireland, establishing its proud Irish heritage. The community has a very rich history, dating back to the first expeditions of North America by John Smith. The pedestrian-friendly community is built with a grid system in place, making it easy to get around and explore all that Dundalk has to offer.
