About Bridgewater, MA

Founded by some of the earliest European settlers on this continent, Bridgewater first came to prominence during the Industrial Revolution as one of the nation's first major iron towns. There are still some iron works companies operating in the city to this day, but the main draw of the city is no longer industry. Instead, it is close access to both Boston and Providence and the high quality of life in a historic and charming small community that makes Bridgewater a place to call home.
