Bell Gardens is city located in Southeastern California. As of the 2010 Census, it had a population of 42,072. The Bell Gardens population is down since the 2000 Census. Bell Gardens is unique among the Los Angeles County cities because it allows gambling, which most cities don’t permit. Only four other cities allow gambling—Inglewood, Gardena, Commerce, and Hawaiian Gardens. The city has long been associated with Native Americans, and at one point it was a hub of the Spanish empire in California.
