The Chamberlain I & II Apartments Description

The Chamberlain I and II Apartments at 39 and 104 Central Avenue, Dayton, Ohio are located in the Grafton Hill Historic District. Now undergoing revival, Grafton Hill is comprised of a splendid grouping of classic residences built from the 1880s to 1920s. It was designated a historic district in 1988. Located on the west side of the Great Miami River, Grafton Hill residents enjoy fishing, canoe rides, bike paths and a near by park with basketball and tennis courts. The Chamberlain Apartments are only minutes away from downtown Dayton which features window shopping, dine-in restaurants, the Victoria Theater, the Shuster Center and the Dayton Dragons Fifth/Third Baseball Field. The Chamberlain I and II Apartments are three story brick buildings built in 1968. Both buildings are a part of a 1.5 million dollar renovation project. The Chamberlain I has 83 one bedroom and studio apartments and the Chamberlain II has 65. Building amenities included 24 hour security surveillance, keyfab entry, intercom system, garage parking and an on-site laundry facility. The standard one bedroom apartments are approximately 500 square feet and studio apartments are approximately 350 square feet. All apartments include new windows and blinds, ceramic tile, plush carpet, maple cabinets, black appliances and moen faucets.
