The school offers 150 degrees, so don’t be surprised if you end up changing your major a few times. That’s right, the kids at CSU really care about their environment, so don’t be seen throwing an empty plastic bottle into the trashcan. Major no bueno.

    Off-Campus Housing Options

    If you are just beginning college, this may not be the page for you. Colorado State requires that all freshmen live in campus housing. After their first year, however, students are running out the door to find their own places. In fact, only 26% of the student body (most likely all of them freshmen) live in the dorms. The rest are doing their own thing. In Fort Collins, students will find a variety of apartments at their disposal. Most of these are studios, one-bedrooms, or two-bedrooms, but there are also some single-family houses for rent if you have a large crew.
