    Unfortunately for some students, when you hit San Marcos you are official in the buuuurbs and one of the top attractions is golf. Your best bet for good times are along San Marcos Blvd. Churchill’s Pub and Grill and The 55 Yardline Sports Bar and Grill, both CSUSM hangs, are along San Marcos Blvd. At The 55 Yardline they have more that 23 big screens to watch sports on. Mind-boggling. There's also lots to do in the surrounding 'hoods to keep any adventure-hungry student satisfied. Take a day and tackle the long lists of breweries and wineries, a main attraction of nearby Escondido. Take your poles and fish off the pier at Oceanside on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Stop by the Oceanside Farmers market and pick up the fixings for a healthy meal. If you’re feelin’ a night out, try some sea-fresh fish at Love Boat Sushi.
