About Brighton, CO

Brighton is a small home-rule municipality just outside of Denver. Straddling the Interstate 76 and Highway 85 corridor, this town is close enough to the city for a daily commute, but far enough out where you feel like you have your own patch of land. It is neighbors with some beautiful state parks, a high national wildlife refuge, and some recreational lakes. Originally started as a farming community in the 1870s, they have come a long way from those days.
