About Bowie, MD

What started as a one-stop town on the Baltimore and Potomac Railroad has grown into a thriving bedroom community just outside Washington D.C. While it may owe its origins to the boxcars that passed through town heading westward, it now stands on its own as a bustling vibrant community, and one of the fastest growing cities in Maryland. They have not forgotten where they came from though, and still preserve a piece of their history with the Huntington Railroad Museum.
