About Chino Hills, CA

An affluent suburb located in San Bernardino County, Chino Hills, California sits just outside of LA, and was ranked 34 in Money Magazine as one of the best places to live in 2012. The Spanish settled in the area in 1771, but Chino did not come about until the land was purchased by Richard Gird in 1910. It soon became a great spot for tourists and was also used by bootleggers to hide away during the Prohibition Era because of how secluded the community were during those times. Today, the area offers shopping, dining, and year-round recreation, all within its city limits.
