The city of Bloomington, Indiana is a larger city in the state of Indiana and also the county seat of Monroe County. Bloomington is known to the public as the “Gateway to Scenic Southern Indiana”.     IU Bloomington, the main campus in the Indiana University system, makes its home in this little-known Indiana city, adjacent to the scenic Yellowwood State Forest.
